The Vaporesso Revenger is a very efficient and gorgeous kit with incredible response times and a perfectly engineered tank. Coils last for a very long time and we didn't get any leaks or dry hits during our tests. There is a bit of battery rattle, but that’s about the only con we could think of. Other than that it’s hands down one of the most beautiful vapes out there.
We've tested some pretty chic devices across the years and the Vaporesso Revenger kit is by far one of the most beautiful. This super sexy 220W power house comes with the all new NRG tank and it deliver flavor and vapor like no other. Also it has a lovely analog clock style screen saver that will turn on each time you take a draw.
The Vaporesso Revenger is powered by improved OMNI Board 2.0 chip and it’s super responsive. As a matter of fact it is one of the most responsive and accurate devices in this price range. It’s packed with features and the design is really good.
WHAT'S INSIDE THE BOX
The kit comes packed in a beautiful cardboard presentation box. Inside you will find the mod itself, a top quality micro-USB cable, the NRG tank and the user manual. The NRG tank comes fitted with 0.15 Ohm NRG4 coil. There’s also a NRG8 0.15 Ohm extra coil, an extra glass tube and various spare parts like O-rings and gaskets.
DESIGN AND MAIN FEATURES
On top of the Vaporesso Revenger mod we have a centered spring loaded 510 connector that’s able to accommodate atomizers up to 28mm in diameter. We have glossy plastic panels on both faces of the device and the fire button placed on the side. On one of the faces you can see the gorgeous OLED display, three adjustment buttons and micro-USB port. Overall it measures 89mm x 45mm x 28mm and feels perfectly balanced even with the two 18650 batteries inside.
The menu system is quite intuitive and easy to use and the device is full of options and safety features. You can adjust the power curves to your personal liking and you have temperature control for Nickel, Titanium, Stainless Steel and TCR.
THE NEW NRG TANK AND COILS
The NRG tank is made from stainless steel and Pyrex glass and has a total capacity of 5.0ml. It has adjustable airflow at the bottom and a slide to open fill port at the top. Unfortunately the drip tip is neither 510 nor 810, but the good news is that you get a Delrin 510 adapter with it. There’s also a Delrin insertion in the base which helps prevent heat transfer from the tank to the mod or the other way around.
The NRG4 coils are rated at 0.15 Ohm and it’s a quad coil configuration, with two sets of coils stacked on top of other two sets of coils. These give pretty good flavor and vapor but are no match for the NRG8 coils. These are stacked in quad configuration but with a total of 8 stainless steel wires inside. The clouds you get off these are phenomenal and they are mostly intended for vaping at over 60W.
