What is a squonk mod and what does BF stand for

BF stands for "bottom feeder" and this is a general characteristic of squonk mods. A squonk mod has a hollow 510 connector and a squeezable e-juice reservoir. It works with compatible RDAs and has a very unique working principle. Whenever the user squeezes the bottle, e-liquid from the reservoir goes through the hollow 510 connector. This way it soaks up the cotton inside the RDA from underneath and doesn't require any dripping. Excess e-liquid is pulled back into the bottle due to the negative pressure and this way it prevents any leaks.

The Vandy Vape Pulse BF comes packed in a nice blue cardboard box. Inside you will find the mod itself, the user manual, the 18650 battery adapter and a bag of spares. This includes extra magnets as well as an extra screw and spring. Available colors are Red, Grey, Cyan and Black. To further customize your device you can purchase different color panels for only $4.95. This way you can choose between Purple, White, and Blue.

Design and features of the Pulse BF vape

The mod measures 77mm x 50mm x 27mm and is made from Nylon and ABS thermo resistant plastic. Feels very comfortable in the hand and the layout is perfect. You can squeeze the bottle with one finger, while your thumb is on the fire button. The bottle is made from silicone and has a total capacity of 8.0ml.

The Vandy Vape Pulse BF works with a single 20700 battery. You can also use with any standard 18650 battery as long as you place it inside the adapter. It's a fully mechanical mod therefore power output depends on the resistance of the atomizer.

On top of the mod we have a spring loaded 510 connector that is hollow. The oversized power button is soft and fun to press. The front and back panels are detachable and held in place by strong magnets. You can take them off by using your fingernail. Contacts are made from copper and there's even a locking mechanism that opens the circuit. This way you can put the device in your pocket without having to worry about anything.

Pulse BF: Performance and final words

Performance wise the Vandy Vape Pulse BF is incredible for this price range. Build quality is great, voltage drop is minimal and the experience is off the charts. The 8.0ml silicone bottle has the perfect amount of tension and as long as you're using it with atomizers up to 25mm in diameter you won't have any overhang. The lock mechanism is a big pro and in terms of size it's a compact and portable squonker. An absolute best buy in this category.
