The Dead Rabbit RDA is a great choice for squonk mods with a depth of 24mm. It comes with a hollow, gold plated 510 pin and a really cool design. The posts are shaped like bunny ears and this makes it super easy to mount your builds.
What's in the Dead Rabbit box and available colors
The Dead Rabbit RDA comes packed in a small cardboard presentation box. Inside you will find the atty itself with an 810 resin drip tip on top. You also get a wide bore 810 Delrin drip tip as well as 510 Delrin drip tip adapter. Next we have the bag of goodies which includes a bottom feeding 510 pin, extra O-rings, hex screws for the posts as well as two Allen keys. You can get this atomizer in a wide range of colors including blue, red, stainless steel, gunmetal, black gold and rainbow. The resin drip tip varies in color and in design depending from atty to atty.
Dead Rabbit: Design and features
This atty has a beautiful design and it's built from high quality stainless steel. It consists of four individual parts: the drip tip, the top cap, the barrel and the build deck. The top cap features three angled adjustable airflow slots. This makes the Dead Rabbit RDA compatible with single and dual coil builds. It also prevents leaks and accounts for a very smooth airflow.
An innovative build deck
The build deck has a unique design, with the posts being similar to rabbit ears. This allows enough room under the screws so you don't need to measure the leads. You can leave them as they are or cut them using a small pair of pliers. The positive posts are gold plated while the negative ones are made from stainless steel. There's a PEEK insulator between the posts and just underneath it we have the bottom feeding juice channel.
The Dead Rabbit RDA uses flat head screws by default, but you can easily swap them with the extra hex screws inside the bag of goodies. Both of them are high quality and easy to work with. You can easily slide in the holes any type of build and we recommend placing them perpendicular to the airflow slots.
Dead Rabbit RDA: Performance and final words
The Dead Rabbit RDA is one of the best RDAs we tried in 2018. You can use the regular pin for standard mods and the bottom feeding pin for squonkers. Build quality is really good for this price and flavor and vapor are off the charts. The deck is super easy to build on and you can enjoy the same great vaping experience in both single and dual coil mode. We mostly used this atty on top of the Pulse BF from Vandy Vape and they pair up perfectly.
We didn't find any cons with it aside from the base O-ring being looser than the top O-ring. This makes it a bit hard to adjust the airflow without twisting the whole RDA.
