Vagon vape: Design and features

The newest member of the Suorin vape family features a slim, curved body and a very ergonomic design. It measures 105mm x 25mm x 17mm and weighs around 56 grams. The body is made from Zinc alloy with the belt clip section being PC. The colors are nice and vibrant and the glossy finish gives the vape a luxurious feel.

The Suorin Vagon vape comprises off three main elements: the pod – which also doubles as the mouthpiece, the main body – or the battery, and the belt clip section.

The mouthpiece has a very sleek design and feels very comfortable on the lips during use. It offers a pretty tight draw, but not as tight as something like a JUUL vape. However, if you're used to vaping on the Suorin Air pod then you should know this is definitely tighter.

A very capable 430mah battery

The battery is built in and rated for 430mAh. This puts the Vagon pod system among the top players in this category, especially since it also allows for pass-through vaping. It is activated on draw and there's an LED system that also acts as the battery indicator. A green light means that the charge is over 70%; blue means it's over 30% and red means it's below 30% or lower and needs to be plugged in.

It takes around an hour for the battery to reach 100%, which is more than some of its competitors. However, considering you can use the device while it's charging that not such a big con after all.

Another thing worth mentioning is that the battery features direct output. This means that vapor production will decrease as the charge drops but it's not that noticeable.

The Sourin Vagon pods

The Vagon pods are hand down some of the best in this category. They last for a very long time, offer great flavor and vapor and they are cheap to replace. Resistance is between 1.1 – 1.2 Ohms and total e-liquid capacity is 2.0ml. Suorin uses organic cotton as the wicking material and it ensures great taste with minimum break-in time.

There's a rubber gasket covering the fill port and you will need to use a needle top bottle or a syringe if you don't want to make a mess. Also the pod isn't that transparent so it's going to be difficult to tell the remaining e-liquid level when the light is dim.

On the bright side, these pods are compatible with 50/50, 60/40 and even 70/30 VG/PG e-liquid and they do not leak. There will be some condensation inside the mouthpiece however, so you need to be careful when you clip the device upside down in your shirt's pocket.

Performance and final thoughts on the Vagon

The Suorin Vagon is an easy to use pod system with a very beautiful and ergonomic design. It's easy to use, easy to refill and delivers great flavor and vapor. Battery life is well above the category average and the LED indicator is nice pro. The airflow is tight and great for mouth to lung inhales, with one of the smoothest draws we tried.

We don't like that it only comes with one pod inside the box but it's still a reasonably priced starter kit. We recommend 35mg nicotine salts for best for the best experience. It also works great with 12mg freebase e-liquids.
