Sigelei Fuchai Duo-3
Well built mod from Sigelei
In terms of performance the Sigelei Fuchai Duo-3 is one of the great mods out there. It's very responsive, solid, and built with good quality materials. The chip used does a great job in both power mode and temperature control and it hits like a locomotive. For this price, it's one of the best devices in its class and definitely something we recommend. Especially if you're a fan of big atties.

Ever wanted a solid, affordable, well-built mod that fits your 30mm RDAs and tanks? Well, good news because today we are going to talk about the Sigelei Fuchai Duo-3 and it's the perfect device for this sort of thing. And while the name Duo-3 might be confusing to some, it actually stands for the fact that it works with either two or three 18650 batteries. Well, partially at least, because for the moment you cannot buy the 3-battery door and it's not included with the mod.

WHAT'S IN THE BOX

The Sigelei Fuchai Duo-3 is available in three colors – black, gunmetal, and red – and it comes with the user manual, USB cable and quality control sticker. So, as we mentioned earlier there is no 3-battery door available at the moment and this makes the mod a dual 18650. But to be fair, in this configuration the third cell would only help increase battery life, with no influence over the maximum output power.

DESIGN AND FEATURES

The device feels well-built and is a pleasure to hold. It may seem look a bit similar to the Wismec Predator, but the central positioning of the 510 connector makes all the difference. You can easily fit any 30mm atty on top of this mod and you can also go as high as 32-34mm without issues. The center pin is spring loaded and we didn't find any compatibility issues with our tanks or RDAs.

Sigelei Fuchai Duo-3 front viewThe fire button is quite big and trapezoidal in shape with a nice click to it. Just below the button we have the impressive OLED color display and the two small adjustment buttons. The menu and shortcuts are easy to use and you even have a pre-heat function for Clapton coils. You can reach a maximum power output of 175W with the Sigelei Fuchai Duo-3 and a maximum voltage of 7.5V. At the same time the mod fires down to 0.1 Ohms and has temperature control for SS, Ni, Ti and even TCR.

To access the battery compartment you simply press the triangular button on the base. This pushes out the door and you can easily slide in the 18650s. The contacts are spring loaded and the mod doesn't turn on until you put the door back in its place. This is an extra safety feature that we totally like and wish to see in on many other devices out there.Sigelei Fuchai Duo-3 battery door

The micro-USB slot just under the adjustment buttons is intended for future firmware upgrades. This means you have to have an external charger for the two 18650s in order to use the mod. It's also a good idea to use 25A or 30A genuine batteries to reach the maximum 175W.
