We tested several CBD e-liquids and oils in the past few weeks and the Kandypens Slim was one of our go-to devices. This tiny starter kit is ideal for CBD vaping and it also works great with tobacco or mint flavored e-juices. The low output battery paired with the special tank prevented any sort of burnt taste and delivered consistent, good quality vapor all throughout the day.
What you get with the oils pen kit
The Kandypens Slim comes packed in a simple, white presentation box. Inside you will find the battery, the tank, and an eGo style USB charger. You also get two small applicator bottles, which we suggest on using. This is because the fill port is quite small and regular droppers barely fit it. We managed to spill liquid on the desk several times before deciding it was a good idea to go for one of the tiny bottles.

As we mentioned earlier, the Kandypens Slim is an elegant and easy to use device. It's powered by a slim 180mAh battery that's activated on inhale. It doesn't come with any buttons and the connector is standard 510. It will also work with other oils cartridges you might buy separately, as long as they come with the same type of connector. The battery is available in two colors – black or white – and can also be used as a stylus for your smartphone.
The tank is also very slim and has a total capacity of 0.5ml. It works with both e-liquids and oils and uses a special type of atomizer for improved flow. Each cartridge lasts for around two full weeks and you can always buy spares on the company's website. 3-packs and 5-packs are the most convenient since they go for $9.95 and $14.95 respectively.
The mouthpiece is very comfortable and perfectly designed for that tight, smooth mouth to lung draw.
How to fill the tank
To fill up the tank with e-liquid or oil the first thing you need to do is pull off the mouthpiece. Then carefully remove the small plastic cap. Make sure to place it in a safe spot during this process since they can easily get lost. Using the provided bottle pour your liquid inside the tank until it's full. If your juice or oil comes inside a unicorn or gorilla bottle feel free to use that. Then simply slide the plastic cap back on and the mouthpiece and you're ready to vape.
Just remember that this is a pen for oils and e-liquids only. If you want to vape waxes and concentrates then the Saber vape pen is much better alternative.
