One of the biggest names in the vape industry is back with a brand new product and this is definitely going to be a best seller. The Aspire Speeder 200W kit is a perfectly balanced dual 18650 box mod, paired with the top performing Athos sub ohm tank. It features variable wattage, temperature control, user defined power curves and some of the best coils we've tested so far.
The device also comes with a built-in accelerometer, just like we saw on the Pegasus. It will automatically flip the screen depending on how you hold it and it makes things so much easier for both left-handed and right-handed users.
WHAT YOU GET INSIDE THE BOX
The Aspire Speeder 200W kit comes packed in a beautiful black presentation box. Inside you will find the mod itself, the Athos tank fitted with the A5 - 0.16 Ohm coil, a spare A3 - 0.3 Ohm coil, a spare Delrin mouthpiece, an extra glass tube, micro-USB cable, spare O-rings and the user manual. It is available in three different color options - black, gray and champagne - and the tank matches the mod so perfectly. For vapers living in Europe, there’s also a TPD compliant version of this kit with a 2.0 ml tank.
DESIGN AND MAIN FEATURES
This kit measures 138mm in height with the tank on top and has a width of 46mm. Depth is around 30mm, but since the edges are rounded at the top a 30mm atty will have a bit of a overhang. The mod has a stainless steel 510 connector on top with a spring loaded pin. The OLED display, micro-USB port and adjustment buttons are placed on the face of the device, while the fire button or fire bar on the side. Battery door is placed on the base and it has one of those slide and flip mechanisms.
The Aspire Speeder 200W mod is a variable wattage device that goes from 1 - 200W and round robins. It also features temperature control, TCR, bypass mode and a very interesting CPS - or power curve mode where you can adjust the wattage on every step of the 10s cutoff interval. This is a bit hard to edit it at first but once you read the manual things get a lot smoother.
The Athos tank that comes with the kit has a height of 58mm and a diameter of 25mm. It’s made from stainless steel and Pyrex glass and total capacity if 4.0ml. Besides the amazing coils, it also features a very smooth airflow adjustment ring at the base and convenient top fill. We particularly enjoyed the A3 - 0.3 Ohm version, which offers really impressive and cool vapor. Flavor is top notch and we didn't have any problems even with 80% VG juices. The 0.16 Ohm coil delivers even more vapor but slightly warmer between 60-100W.
