Smok Stick One Basic Starter Kit
Awesome sub ohm Ego vape kit
I see the Smok Stick One Basic as the perfect alternative for people who are always on the go, who want a great sub ohm back-up for their 100W mod or for those who don't like to fiddle with complicated menus and external batteries. This one is a very simple yet effective plug and go kit and the flavor and vapor production you get from it are simply outstanding. I love the silicone dust cap which helps protect the tank from mechanical shocks when you travel and the big 2200 Amp reading on the battery

I love my box mods but there are days when I need a stealthy and simple device to take with me on a road trip, picnic or in the car while running errands. This is where eGo style kits shine and today I want to talk to you about one of my favorites. It's called the Smok Stick One Basic Starter Kit and it comes in four colors – black, white, silver and red. And while it's a basic one button eGo kit, this has a Nano version of the famous TFV4 on top, which makes it a real cloud machine.

Smok Stick One Basic white with tankThe Smok Stick One Basic comes packed in a white and grey cardboard box and inside you will find the eGo Cloud battery, the Nano TFV4 tank with a 0.3 Ohm Clapton coil installed, a spare 0.25 Ohm coil, a vape band, a silicone dust cap, spare O-rings, a micro-USB charging cable and a user's manual.

The Cloud battery is a simple, unregulated, 19mm diameter / 90mm in height eGo style device and weighs about 70g. It has a small round firing button and a notification light, which gives information about the remaining charge. It is rated at 2200mAh and this should be more than enough to last at least half a day with the 0.3 Ohm coil.

The fact that it's unregulated means that as the charge drops from 4.2V to 3.4V so will the vapor quantity and intensity but you won't feel a big difference until the battery is at about 20%. Also it has a micro-USB slot on the base and it takes around 3h for a full charge. The notification light will turn red as the device charges and turn off once the process is complete. To power the battery on or off you will need to press the button five consecutive times.Smok Stick One Battery

The Smok Stick One Basic comes with the Nano TFV4 tank, which is the even smaller brother of the original TFV4 (we also had a micro version on the Smok Guardian III) but very capable when it comes to producing big clouds. It has the same swivel top refill method and comes with a capacity of 2.0ml of e-juice. It has the same 19mm diameter as the eGo Cloud battery and it's made from high quality stainless steel and Pyrex glass. With a total height of 57mm it's going to make the whole kit at nearly 150mm so pretty long but slim. It has airflow adjustment on the bottom but lacks the top mechanism we saw on the original TFV4.

Smok Stick One Basic tankI have to say I'm a big fan of SMOK's Clapton coils and the 0.3 Ohm version hits the spot perfectly. Flavor for days and surprising vapor production coming from a 19mm eGo that's for sure. And because the battery is unregulated it means that fully charge it's going to hit the coils with nearly 60W of power, which is pretty impressive.

I love the silicone dust cap which helps protect the tank from mechanical shocks when you travel and the big 2200 Amp reading on the battery.

Former pack-a-day smoker, I discovered electronic cigarettes back in 2011. Since then vaping has slowly turned into my hobby and my full time job. I’ve tested hundreds of e-cigarettes and mods across the years and constantly used my knowledge and experience to help others make the switch. I’m passionate about technology, I enjoy reading and I love big flavorful clouds.
