Our Review On The VPark 30W Starter Kit

VPark 30W Starter Kit

If you’re a smoker looking for your first vaping product or a vaper looking for an alternative to the eGo vapes or to have a great performing back-up mod for your 50-100-200W device, then the VPark 30W Starter Kit is one of your best alternatives. It’s one of the smallest and stealthiest box mods to ever hit the market but at the same time the design and finish are absolutely gorgeous. Measuring probably half the height of an iStick 50W this sexy mod comes with a matching tank and it’s built for sub-ohming.

VPark 30W mod side viewThe VPark 30W Starter Kit comes packed in a black cardboard box and inside you fill find the mod itself, as well as the tank, the micro-USB charging cable and the user’s manual. It’s made from high quality aluminum alloy and it’s very well balanced and a pleasure to hold. Without a tank on top of it you can virtually hide it in your hand and it feels very solid. It comes in a variety of colors including Tiffany blue, Ferrari red, Pearl Black, White, and Black and the tank included in the box matches the mod.

On the top side we have the 510 connector with a spring loaded center pin and on the main side we have the wattage adjustment dial, the firing button, the bright LCD display, and the on/off switch. Yes, it comes with an on / off switch rather than having to press the firing button 5 times, which I think it’s great for beginners. On the bottom we have a covered micro-USB charging port (dust proof) and some venting holes for the battery. And speaking about the battery, the VPark 30W Starter Kit is powered by a 1000mAh 18350 Lithium internal cell with a maximum output current of 14 Amps.

The box measures roughly 55 x 40 x 22mm and has a total weight of no more than 100g. It comes with safety features like short circuit protection, low voltage protection and vent holes to prevent overheating and it’s incredibly simple to operate. Despite it being very intuitive I do recommend reading the manual, which is written in very good English. After turning the device on via the button located under the LCD screen you can adjust your desired wattage by moving the dial. If you keep it pressed in a direction it’s going to accelerate and you can go through the whole wattage range in a few seconds. This mod can go from 5.0W all the way up to 30W in 0.1W increments and this is probably enough for any beginner.

The VPark 30W Starter Kit can fire as low as 0.2 Ohms and as high as 2.0 Ohms and you can also useVPark 30W mods different colors it with a variety of other tanks or RDAs. The Maxtank Mini which comes inside the box is an excellent match for the mod in term of both looks and performance. The body is made from polished stainless steel and the tube is all Pyrex glass. It has a total capacity of 2.5ml of e-liquid and it comes with two airflow adjustment mechanisms – one on the base and one just below the drip tip. Some unique aspects of this tank are the threadless atomizer heads which are press-fitted into the base and the top fill design. Measuring a total of 60mm in height, the tank is actually bigger than the mod itself but it does complement it quite nicely. It comes with two 0.5 Ohm coils and they produce a great amount of vapor as well as good flavor.

Given the 1000mAh battery and the 0.5 Ohm coils, battery life is not this mod’s strong point, however, if you use it with a mini Nautilus for instance and those 1.8 Ohm coils then you’re probably looking at a whole day of vaping. However the 0.5 Ohm coils produce a lot more vapor and the flavor is also very, very good. I would pair this mod with a Goblin Mini RTA and have one of the smallest sub ohm combos possible while still enjoying massive clouds.

The VPark 30W Starter Kit is a great product for anyone looking to give vaping a try and it performs flawlessly. There are no leaks with the tank and everything is really easy to use. I found my sweet spot at 18W and I mostly used 70/30 VPG e-liquids with it. I would give it an 8 out of 10.
