Eleaf iJust 2 Kit
A Tubular vape kit for everyone
To conclude, the Eleaf iJust 2 is a lovely kit for everyone looking to get into vaping. The whole experience is more than enjoyable and the price is very reasonable. I didn’t encounter any issues with it for the 4 days I used it and it seems pretty durable. The one negative is with that weird airflow control ring, but it’s definitely not a deal breaker.

Our Review On The Eleaf iJust 2 Kit

f you’re not such a big fan of bulky but still want a taste of sub-ohm vaping, then there are some alternatives you can choose from like the Aspire CF Sub Ohm battery, the eGo ONE from Joyetech or the Tesla One, but today we are going to take a closer look at one of the more recent models to have hit the market and I’m talking about the Eleaf iJust 2 Kit. This is probably one of the most affordable ‘sub-ohm setup for everyone’ and it’s so easy to use.

Eleaf iJust 2 sub ohm tank The first thing I should mention is that the Eleaf iJust 2 is an unregulated mod, which means you are going to notice the vapor getting weaker and weaker as the battery runs out. However, it’s very powerful, well-built and it comes with an impressive 2,600 mAh battery, so it’s going to take a while to drain it. Unlike other mods it doesn’t come with a display or adjustment buttons, but it’s this simplicity that makes the device ideal for both beginners and advanced users.

The Eleaf iJust 2 comes packed in a white cardboard box and inside you are going to find the mod, the iJust tank fitted with a 0.3 Ohm coil, the micro-USB cable, the user’s manual, and one green vape band, which we are going to talk about later. The device has a fair amount of weight to it and 80mm in length and 22mm in diameter. It’s made from stainless steel and I’m a big fan of the smooth finish.

ijust batteryOn the top we have the buttery threaded 510 connection with the spring loaded center pin, and going down we can  notice the firing button and the micro-USB port on opposite sides. The firing button has a LED notification light that’s going to blink as the battery needs to be recharged, and you can also see the notification around the charging port. Since this is a pass-through device you can still vape on it while it’s charging and the whole process should take around 3 hours with a 1A wall adapter or USB port.

The iJust Tank that comes inside the box matches perfectly with the battery and it sits flush on top of it. It has a total capacity of 5.5ml of e-juice, which is quite nifty and it’s made from stainless steel and Pyrex glass.  It does have a good amount of airflow to it through the holes in the base, but we don’t have an airflow adjustment system like in the case of the other sub-ohm tanks. This is where that vape band I mentioned before comes in handy. You simply mount it on the airflow holes and twist it until you cover them gradually until you hit your sweet spot. Now why Eleaf decided to use the green rubber ring instead of an actual built-in mechanism I’m not completely sure. It does its job perfectly but it looks a bit weird when you look at all that stainless steel and glass.

ijustcomponentThe coils need to be perfectly saturated before you take your first draw but afterwards they are real winners. They can run up to 2-3 weeks each and the vapor they produce is fantastic. You can also buy 0.5 Ohm coils and it’s great to give them a try as well. I love the fact that this tank carries so much juice because we all know how sub-ohm vaping can go through in a matter of hours. The taste is good and the amount of airflow without the ring on is just perfect for all you direct lung hitters out there.
