What you get with the VooPoo Finic Fish vape

When you purchase the VooPoo Finic fish vape it will come in a black cardboard presentation box, with a see-through cutout. Inside you will find the rounded corner diamond shaped battery, one pod, the micro-USB cable and the user manual.

Available colors for this pod mod are White, Dark Grey, Blue, Cross, Squarma, and Footsteps. The last three are really nice patterns that complement the overall designed just perfectly.

Design of the VooPoo Finic Fish

The VooPoo Finic Fish has a modern design, similar to the Sourin Drop vape, or the Smoant S8 pod. It measures 66mm x 56mm x 13mm and weighs just 27 grams. This makes it feels really nice and natural in the hand and the build quality is pretty remarkable. Yes it’s made from plastic but it feels durable and the finish is very appealing.

This pod system has no buttons, and it activate automatically on each draw. There is an LED notification light on the face of the vape and the micro-USB slot on the bottom. This will light up Green when the battery is over 60%, Blue when it’s between 20 - 60%, and Red when it’s time to recharge. And speaking about the battery, this tiny vape is powered by a built-in 350mAh cell.

Features of the Finic Fish pod system

The Finic Fish pod system includes a brand new chip by VooPoo called the GENE Pod. This helps regulate power to the atomizer with a constant 3.7V output, which delivers great vapor regardless of the battery charge. It also comes with multiple safety features like 10s cut-off, short circuit protection, overcharge and over discharge protections, as well as over current protection.

The wattage ranges between 7 - 12W and this makes it perfect for nicotine salts.

The Finic Fish pods

Although the Finic Fish vape kit comes with only one pod, this is of very good quality and one of our all time favorites. It’s made from smokey PCTG and holds a maximum of 1.7ml of e-liquid. You can fill it from the side and there is a rubber gasket covering the port.

The atomizer resistance is 1.6 Ohms and paired with the 350mAh battery, this is more than enough for a full day of moderate vaping.

We are not very sure about the number of refills, however our review unit is on its 8th run and we still haven’t noticed any flavor outages, drops in vapor production or burnt taste.

Our overall thoughts on the VooPoo Finic Fish Pod vape

The VooPoo Finic Fish Pod vape was a very nice surprise. It’s one of those pod mods you forget it’s in your hand and it vapes so naturally. You can do mouth to lung or even direct lung inhales and it works perfectly with 20mg or above nicotine salts. Battery life usually lasts a full office day and the build quality is quite impressive for a device made from plastic.

The only cons are just the one pod inside the kit and the fact that you cannot see the e-liquid level that well. Also you will sometimes have trouble accessing the fill port due to the design of the rubber gasket. But overall, this is a very good vape that we found to be particularly appealing for beginners.
