If you’re passionate about building coils then the Vandy Vape Lit RDA 24 BF is definitely an atty worth checking out. It’s a product more suitable for experienced vapers since the build deck is pretty unique and requires a learning curve. On the other hand it offers incredible airflow and it can be customized to your liking. It’s great for vaping at high wattages and features DIY mesh coils.

What you get with the Lit RDA
The Lit RDA 24 BF from Vandy Vape is rather interesting. It comes with a neat resin drip tip, two 18mm Delrin wide bore drip tips, a bottom feed 510 pin, and spare parts. You also get three mesh-style bands to build your coils. This is the first atty we tested that comes with these mesh bands and we did struggle a bit to make them work.
The RDA is available in four colors: gold, black, stainless steel and rainbow. Each of these colors has a different resin drip tip.
The Lit design
The Vandy Vape Lit RDA looks nice and feels solid and durable in the hand. It measures 24mm in diameter and built fro high quality stainless steel. The O-rings are high quality and they account for a very tight fit. The atty consists of three parts: the top cap, the barrel and the build deck. It features two types of adjustable airflow: honeycomb and slotted and it’s intended to only be used in dual coil mode.
The juice well is very generous, unfortunately it can saturate your wicks unevenly. This is because the e-liquid cannot flow freely from left to right unless it’s over a certain limit. Our recommendation is to drip e-liquid only with the RDA perfectly vertical. Same goes for when using it on top of a squonk mod.
The unique build deck
The Lit RDA build deck is pretty interesting and the design is unique. We basically have a clamp system that holds in place the stacked positive and negative slots. As you untighten the post screws the whole build deck gets elevated and you’re left with enough room to slide in the positive and negative leads. It also requires the user to slide in both coils at the same time and cut the leads after tightening the screws.
This is definitely not the easiest way to mount coils and it requires a learning curve. Beginners will struggle even with simple builds, when there are much easier alternatives out there like the Dead Rabbit RDA.
Performance and final thoughts on the Lit RDA vape
The Vandy Vape Lit RDA 24 BF was designed with cloud chasing in mind. It features very generous airflow, a cool resin style drip tip and works with DIY mesh coils. There are two types of airflow channels: honeycomb and slot style and the O-rings have good tension. You can use it with the BF pin on top of any squonk mod or with the standard 510 on any other device. It’s an atty intended for high wattages and experiences users.
We are not big fans of the build deck nor of the mesh bands. These are very complicated to slide into the slots and to wick properly. We also did not like the way the juice well is designed.
However, if you have experience with building coils and you love the loose airflow, then this product is definitely worth checking out.
