The overall experience with the Cloud V Nova has been more than enjoyable 98% of the time. I sometimes noticed small e-liquid spills under the tank, but only with 50/50 VPG juices (which are generally thinner) and other times differences in resistance readings after filling the tank (0.8 Ohms instead of 0.6 Ohms) but nothing out of the ordinary. The provided battery is rated at 2200mAh and it can offer at least 5-6h of moderate vaping, but you can easily swap it for a 3000mAh model for greater autonomy. Vapor production is great and the flavor is just amazing at around 25W.
Our Review On The Cloud V Nova Mod kit
Cloud V have been on the market for quite some time now and despite being mainly focused on loose leaf vaporizers they also have three types of e-liquid based devices. This is why I decided to give their box mod a try and since I was pretty impressed with the results I decided to do a full review on the  Cloud V Nova mod kit.
This is a product mainly addressed to intermediate vapers, however it can also be used by beginners who like puffing out big clouds. I say mainly intermediate vapers because it's a sub ohm kit right out of the box and despite the adjustable airflow and the possibility of mouth to lung draws, it offers a far better experience with direct lung inhales (which are totally different than the way you smoke on an actual cigarette).
The Cloud V Nova mod comes packed in a black and white cardboard box and inside you'll find the fully assembled kit, a user's manual, a micro-USB charging cable, a 18650 battery, a spare coil and a silicone protection to keep your mod protected from daily scratches. The device measures roughly 89x38x24 mm and it's pretty similar in form factor with a Subox Mini or a Vox TC. It is available in three color combinations (all black, all silver and silver with black) and it has a very stylish design.
The Nova mod has a 510 connector at the top, the fire button, LCD display and adjustment buttons on the main side and the battery cap on the base. The device is powered by an external 18650 battery (included in the kit) and it's recommended that you insert the battery and plug in your charger for at least two hours before using it for the first time. The menu is pretty intuitive and you can adjust the wattage between 7 – 50W in 1W increments by pressing on the plus or minus buttons. The display shows all the information required for an excellent vaping experience, such as remaining battery, atomizer resistance, output voltage and current wattage. 
The tank included in the kit matches the mod perfectly both in terms of looks and performance. It has a capacity of 2.5 ml of e-liquid, but I guess you can go up to 2.7 - 2.8ml without any problems. It's made from stainless steel and Pyrex glass and besides the coil that's already fitted inside you do get an extra one to enjoy your silky clouds for at least a month. The tank fills from the bottom and it comes with an airflow adjustment mechanism at the base to give you total control on the type of draw.
The coils are rated at 0.6 Ohms and they wick pretty good even with thicker e-liquids (80/20 VPG) as long as you don't go over 30W. For higher wattages I would recommend sticking with at least 70/30 VG/PG ratio juices. It's recommended that when you first use the coil to let it wick for at least 10 minutes before taking the firs puff, and try using a lower wattage setting (8-10W). You can then gradually increase the wattage as the cotton gets more and more saturated.
