Apollo Reliant 60W Pro Kit

My experience with the Apollo Reliant 60W Pro Kit has been great so far. I've mainly used it at 35W and the battery seems to last about 6-7hours. The flavor is outstanding with the Phazer tank and the whole kit offers a satisfying vaping experience.

Temperature control is a great feature on today's mods and as technology develops, it starts getting better and better. If many of the initial TC devices were a bit hit and miss, nowadays we have a various array of box mods that perform like real champs right out of the box. Such is the case of the Apollo Reliant 60W Pro Kit, the company’s flagship product and a great piece of engineering when it comes to delivering spectacular clouds.

Apollo Reliant 60W boxWith a very unique design and those chamfered edges, the Apollo Reliant 60W Pro Kit looks like a miniature space ship and I was more than impressed with its performances. You can use it variable wattage mode, temperature control mode and even mechanical mode for an amazing experience every single time. It comes packed in a lovely white, red & black magnetic top cardboard box, and inside you will find the mod itself, the Phazer sub ohm tank fitted with a 0.5 Ohm coil, a spare 0.2 Ohm Nickel coil, a very stylish micro-USB charging cable and a user's manual. The device is powered by a single 18650 battery, which doesn't come inside the box and needs to be purchased separately.

The first thing you're going to notice about the Apollo Reliant 60W Pro Kit, besides its futuristic look of course, is the anodized metallic finish, which gives the mod a very high quality appearance. Without the battery inside the mod feels incredibly light, but once you insert your 18650 it does add a reasonable amount of weight to it, however just enough to make it perfectly balanced in the hand.

On the top of the mod we have a spring loaded 510 connector and the firing button, which is positioned at an angle. The button is almost flush with the whole body of the mod, but it does have a fair amount of 'click'-iness to it. Going down the main side we have the two plus / minus adjustment buttons, the bright LCD display and the micro-USB charging port. On the base there's the battery cap with two small venting holes, which you can unscrew with either your fingernail or a penny.Apollo Reliant 60W mod black

The Phazer thank that comes inside the box is a perfect match for the 60W Reliant and it's an impressive cloudmaker. It's made from top quality stainless steel and Pyrex glass and it has a total capacity of 3.5ml of e-juice. It comes with a wide bore 510 Pyrex drip tip at the top and with an airflow adjustment mechanism at the bottom. You can easily swap the 0.5 Ohm Kanthal atomizer head with the 0.2 Ohm Nickel version and enjoy a great temperature control experience.

The Apollo Reliant 60W Pro Kit can work in regular variable wattage mode from 5W all the way up to 60W, in temperature control mode from 200°F up to 600°F (or 100°C - 300°C) or in mechanical mode, where it behaves just like an unregulated mod, but of course with the added benefit of the built in safety features. These include low voltage protection, low resistance protection, short circuit protection, over charge protection and reverse polarity protection. The device can fire as low as 0.2 Ohms in regular Kanthal variable wattage mode and as low as 0.06 Ohms in the case of Nickel coils.

Apollo Reliant 60W mod and Lindbergh eliquidsOne thing I really liked about the Phazer tank coils was the fact that you can adjust the juice holes depending on the density of your e-liquid (which is linked to the VG content). You can buy spare coils (0.2 and 0.5 Ohms Kanthal or 0.2 Ohms Nickel) in packs of five, however you need to use the top caps from the coils that came with inside the kit. So be extra careful not to dispose of these coils before unscrewing their top caps off.

My experience with the Apollo Reliant 60W Pro Kit has been very rewarding so far and I encountered no issues with it. I've mainly used it at 35W and the battery seems to last about 6-7hours. The flavor is outstanding with the Phazer tank and the whole kit offers a satisfying vaping experience.
