Our Review On The Wismec Reuleaux RX75 Full Kit

Wismec Reuleaux RX75 Full Kit

I’m pretty sure many of you are familiar with Jay Bo by now, and if you’re not he’s the designer of numerous bestselling devices like the RX200, the Bambino RDA and the Theorem Atomizer (in collaboration with Matt from Suck My Mod). Well, it seems this time he teamed up with Richard (from Vaping With Twisted420) and together they worked on a brand new starter kit called the Wismec Reuleaux RX75.

Wismec Reuleaux RX75 kits various colorsAnd while at first glance 75W starter kit might look very similar to your average box mod, it does hide some interesting innovations from the recessed 510 connector to the fire button integrated into the magnetic battery door. It’s a great all day type of device that does very nice job at producing flavorsome clouds and it also the type of mod you can’t accidentally fire when inside your pocket or bag nor can you change the settings due to the protective sleeve in the front.

The Wismec Reuleaux RX75 is available in four different colors – tiffany, red, white, and black – but to be fair I’m only talking about the design lines and the O-rings on the tank. It comes packed in a black cardboard box and inside you will find the mod itself, the Amor Mini tank, a spare 0.2 Ohm coil, a spare clear drip tip, a spare clear front cover and screws (to see the display), a micro-USB charge cable (also used for upgrades) and the user manuals.

The mod measures 87 x 47 x 22.5 mm it has a very nice finish and the body is made from good quality aluminum. It feels super confortable in the hand and it’s one of the first devices I’ve tested that has such a stealthy fire button. At first I didn’t knew what to press to turn it on but after reading the manual and unlocking the device it was pretty clear that the button is integrated in the magnetic battery door Wismec Reuleaux RX75 kit black(actually it’s the magnet on the side of the mod that’s also the button). So, on the top there’s the locking switch and then (on a lower level) we have the spring loaded 510 connector (which is only suitable for 22mm atties and tanks). If we flip the front cover we can see the crystal clear display and the two adjustment buttons and we also have a micro-USB slot on the side.

To access the battery compartment (the Wismec Reuleaux RX75 is powered by a single 18650 high drain cell – not included) you have to pull out the back cover and you can clearly see the pins as well as the symbols for the positive and negative sides. Despite the magnets used on both sides there’s no rattle and these covers sit in place just flawlessly. The integration of the fire button in the battery cover is pretty ingenious and it’s really comfortable to use on a regular basis.

Wismec Reuleaux RX75 batteryThe Amor Mini tank that comes with the Wismec Reuleaux RX75 is a low profile (52 x 22 mm) 2ml sub ohm little cloud machine that’s just perfect for the amount of power this mod has to offer. It’s made from stainless steel and Pyrex glass and the atomizer heads come with triple coils inside and generous juice feeding holes. The experience they offer at 0.2 Ohms is stellar and now that I think about it this probably is one of the best low profile tanks I’ve tested in 2016. The coils last for a very long time and the flavor you get from them is absolutely magnificent.

In terms of performance, we’re looking at an improved version of the eVic VTC Mini that comes with a really great tank on top. I’ve been using this bad boy at around 40-45W and I was very happy with the vapor production and flavor. The only subjective con with the Wismec Reuleaux RX75  is the fact that it’s only powered by a single 18650 battery and when you’re vaping at 40-60W you’re going to need more than one to get though a whole day. Other than that, a fantastic job by Wismec, Jaybo and Vaping with Twisted40.
