SMOK Infinix pod kit

Closed system vaporizers are very efficient however their monthly cost has skyrocketed in the last few months. This makes refillable pod devices a lot more popular. The SMOK Infinix pod kit is one of the most recent releases in this category and a solid performer. Simple and intuitive this tiny vape works best with high concentration nic salts e-liquids. It's intended for mouth to lung use and the overall experience is pretty great.

Infinix: Kit contents

The SMOK Infinix pod kit comes packed in a regular cardboard box. Inside you will find the tiny battery, two blank pods, a micro-USB cable, the user manual as well as a needle top bottle. The needle top bottle is perfect for refilling the pods as it has a very narrow tip. You can also do this is regular e-juice bottles or droppers except for some of the 60 – 120ml versions.

Infinix vape: Design and features

This lightweight pod system measures 110mm x 20mm x 11mm and weighs little over 20g. It's pretty similar to a Von Erl in terms of shape and size and it is available in three different colors: Gunmetal, Red, and blue.

The SMOK Infinix pod vape has a rhombic cross section, which makes it easier to hold. It feels very natural in the hand and comes with an LED notification light on the body. It's powered by a tiny 250mAh battery and the output ranges between 10W – 16W depending on charge. Micro-USB slot is placed on the base and a recharge cycle usually takes around 30 minutes.

The Infinix pods

Each Infinix pod has a total capacity of 2.0ml. They have a rubber gasket on the side which allows easy refills. The vapor production is a bit less powerful. Airflow is nice and allows for a very smooth mouth to lung draw.

Wicking material is Japanese organic cotton. We particularly liked the fact that you don't get any dry hits with this and coils seem to last for a very long time. They do have a break-in period but after that the flavor becomes spot on.

Overall performance of the Infinix vape

The SMOK Infinix pod system is very similar to the FIT and it's great to keep you off combustible cigarettes. Works great when paired with nicotine salts and offers a very satisfying throat hit. The see through window is a bit tiny so you will need to take the pod out every once in a while just to see how much juice is left. Also the pod has a very tight fit. Battery life is decent for this category and vapor and flavor are also within range. If you need better battery life for your nic salts then we recommend checking out the Joyetech Ego Aio Eco pen.

How does it compare to the PHIX?

The PHIX ecig has a bit more battery life and a tighter draw. And while we love some of its pod flavors, they are very limited in terms of diversity. The SMOK Infinix pod vape on the other hand offers endless flavor options, refillable pods and cheaper monthly costs. And while you can get your hands dirty at times, the filling process is pretty straight forward especially with the provided needle top bottle.
