My overall experience with the Mig Vapor Morpheus kit has been a very good one, with massive clouds, great flavor and a battery that lasts for a whole day at the office. I would have made the tank a bit bigger (5-6ml) because it usually runs out of e-liquid in an hour or so (especially when you're using the 0.2 ohm coils), but it's not that difficult to refill. It's very responsive, very airy and it's one of those go-to sub ohm devices that you can always depend on.
When it comes to ego vape pens that come with low resistance coils and massive batteries, there are a couple of options out there. Today we reviewed the Mig Vapor Morpheus. It has a carbon fiber battery and the tank will impress any vaper. This regardless if you're a beginner or have been vaping for several years now. It seems like the perfect combination between looks and performance. The best part, it's powered by a built-in battery rated at 3000mAh. This setup can reach a maximum of 100W which is very impressive for a vape pen.
What's in the box?
The Mig Vapor Morpheus comes packed in a nice green gift box. Inside you will find the battery, the tank (which comes with a stainless steel drip tip with airflow control), a 0.2 Ohm sub ohm coil head, a 0.4 Ohm sub ohm coil head, a micro USB charging cable, a spare drip tip (black one, without airflow control), a user manual, and a set of rubber bands for the battery.
First thing you'll notice about this kit is the build quality and the superb carbon fiber finish on the battery, which looks amazing. It feels great in the hand, it has a nice grip to it and because it's a "one button operation" type of mod you don't need to adjust anything, just press the fire button and enjoy a great vaping experience. The battery comes with a spring loaded 510 connector on the top (you can use other 22mm tanks on top of it) and some venting holes on the base. It has a side micro-USB charging slot that allows fast charging (2A) so if you use a 2A wall adapter you'll be able to fully recharge the cell in about two hours or so (with a regular laptop USB plug it takes a lot longer).

The Morpheus tank
The Morpheus tank is made from stainless steel and Pyrex glass and comes with two airflow adjustment mechanisms (one integrated in the base and one in the drip tip). This is because it fires down to 0.2 Ohm and 100W, so you will need the extra air to cool down the vapor and to maximize the draw. The tank has a total capacity of 3ml of e-liquid and you will need to prime the coils when you use them for the first time (since you can't slowly increase the wattage).
The rubber bands that come included in the Mig Vapor Morpheus kit are for protecting the battery from mechanical shocks (in case it rolls of the desk or something) and they have to be placed in the two grooves just below the tank. You have a wide range of colors to match either the tank, the vape band or your daily mood. And speaking about the colors, when you're buying the kit you can choose from silver carbon fiber or black carbon fiber for the battery, which is another great touch.
A spare set of coils costs little less than $16, and it's probably a good idea to buy a 5-pack of these when you make the initial order. If you know you enjoy massive clouds but with warm vapor and a wide airflow then the 0.2 Ohm version are probably the ideal purchase for your, but if you're like me and enjoy sub ohm vaping at around 0.4 – 0.6 Ohm, with cooler vapor and get better battery life, then go for the 0.4 Ohm atomizers.
